19th December 2011

2011 aboard My Way was another great year; the fishing was fantastic at times with numerous species both big and small being caught.  At the last count anglers aboard My Way have boated 45 different species through the year (47 in 2010), here’s hoping we can finally reach that 50 in 2012.

With My Way regulars along with anglers hopping aboard for the first time, old friendships have continued and many new ones were made as the year progressed.

With 2011 now drawing to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support throughout the year and look forward to meeting up once again in 2012.

Please enjoy a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

08th October 2011 September has followed the angling anguish of August only this time hurricane winds across the pond leaving us with extreme gale force weather that has hammered last month to the ground. With 28days booked afloat with for us and only managing to actually sail on 10 occasions, not exactly a winning ratio is it? The fishing has been hard on the days we have managed to get afloat with the sea left behind not allowing us to do everything we had planned.

Fingers crossed now for some settled Autumn winds and happy fishing. Where ever you’re reading, hope the seas have been kind to you of late and fingers crossed for some settled weather for everyone.

2010 was another good year afloat aboard My Way. With a variety of fish both big and small. You can read our review here.   2011 is now well underway and My Way is currently high and dry, receiving some well earned Tender Loving Care by way of routine engine maintenance, some painting and also electronic upgrades.

We now have 7 years of galleries crammed with photographs from our days afloat.  All the galleries are listed in order through the years and offer a photographic chart to the My Way angling calendar, please follow this link. We will be looking to add to the galleries as 2011 moves on, if you see yourself on one of the galleries and would like a copy of the photograph simply send us an email.

GO Angling Charter Services has an unrivalled pedigree in angling. Know how on species, rigs and baits is what the GO Angling team can bring to your fishing day; with full catch galleries for all to see & a variety of articles on many aspects of sea angling.

Price Increase  Conscious of the economic instability of recent years, our prices have remained unchanged since July 2008. After careful consideration we have decided that our prices need to be increased for 2011 to allow us to continue offering a 5star service to the angling community. Fortunately the increases have not been astronomical and are around a basic £20 per full boat charter or £3 per individual booking.

At only £300 for 8hrs, we firmly believe that My Way is still one of the most competitively priced charter boats in North Wales, offering a wide variety of species and styles to all anglers from novices to the more experienced.  There are not many other sports or activities that offers such value for money over the course of a day.

In addition to the fishing, your booking also includes tea, coffee, cold drinks, hot snacks, and quality uptide or downtide rods along with high performance multiplier reels as part of the booking. Thus helping make your day not only about the fishing, but the experience, a great day out!

Availability Bookings for 2011 are coming in at a nice steady rate. Tide and time specific trips such as neap tides for the deeps and early season smoothie dates are filling up fast, with barely a handful of dates remaining for our trips into Holyhead Deep. Please call or email as soon as possible so not to miss out. Our online availability can be found here

Once again we have selected a series of dates for the small group or individual anglers to benefit. These are all chosen as the perfect tides / times for the fish being targeted..

Once again 2010 saw us run a number of our fun open friendly matches,  we will be looking at hosting a variety of open events through the year for various species of fish – all with a variety of prizes in the offering.

Facebook & Twitter  Joining the modern world we have a popular Facebook group where anglers can share photographs and comment on each others catches. To join in search GO Angling Charter Services from your Facebook group or click here.

I've still  not figured out what all the fuss is about with Twitter, never the less we have an account for the boat and it updates with various news items from the website, click here.

Please enjoy your fishing through 2011 where ever you may be.

Regards

Gethyn
