What knot should you use?

There are so many different knots - grinner, uni, palomar, albright, bimini, etc  - far too many in my honest opinion for our every day boat angling needs. It can get confusing when talking to different people and they all have a different view.

The grinner knot on the other hand is one the most versatile knots around and can be used for tying swivels and hooks whilst rig building but also used when tying shock leaders to your mainline.

If you only want to learn one knot to help get you further in your angling, watch this video from  Boat Fishing Monthly with editor Dave Barham as he shows how to tie the 3 turn Grinner Knot.
