Winter inshore fishing from Holyhead can often be just as hectic as our more traditional angling seasons of Spring and summer. Granted in Holyhead we rarely set the world alight with record hauls of bumper cod, but still a fun day afloat catching plenty is almost certainly guaranteed.
    .

 

The mainstay of our catches include dogfish, bull huss, codling, big whiting, and also pollack, coalies in addition to a variety of mini species.

It's the conger eel that tends to make the biggest catch to a good day afloat, with eels up to 50lb caught within 30minutes of leaving our berth.

On occasions though, when fishing for big huss and eel, the unexpected just happens along, as did with these tope.

Our winter period is now upon us in Holyhead and for November and December we have kept the winter price reduction for our inshore trips around Holyhead Bay; prices are for mid week full boats and have now also been extended to include individual prices  when based on a minimum of 4 individuals aboard.
